Visit the Eccles Wildlife Education Center
Visiting the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Wildlife Education Center and the nature trails is free.

- Tuesday–Saturday: 11 a.m.–4 p.m.
- Sunday, Monday and holidays: Closed
The nature trails may be used during daylight hours any day of the week and on holidays.

Coming from the south
Travel north on I-15 and take Exit 322 (just after the Glovers Lane overpass). When the ramp forks, stay right. Just off the exit ramp, turn right on the frontage road and continue south. At the first stop sign, turn right onto Glovers Lane.
Continue west on Glovers Lane for two miles, passing through the roundabout at 1100 West. Turn left when you reach Waterfowl Way, drive through the gate and follow the paved road to the parking lot.
Coming from the north
Travel south on I-15 and take Exit 325 toward Park Lane. Turn right onto Park Lane. Turn left at the stop sign onto 1525 West and follow this street until it ends. Turn right onto Glovers Lane.
Shortly after you take this turn, you will see a small parking lot and a gate on your left. Drive through the gate and follow the paved road to the parking lot.
Rent the facility
The Eccles Wildlife Education Center isn't set up to host events, such as weddings, at this time.
In limited circumstances, the center may be used by Utah Division of Wildlife Resources constituent or partner groups during regular open hours. For example, meetings with less than 100 participants that don’t require special audio/video equipment or involve special event catering (boxed lunches are OK). Nature trails
The Eccles Wildlife Education Center features a scenic, 1.6-mile nature trail loop. Meander the wheelchair- and stroller-friendly trail to experience the unique sights and sounds of the Farmington Bay wetlands. Motorized vehicles, bicycles, horses, hunting and fishing are not allowed. All dogs must be on leash. Please stay on designated trails.
