DWR hosting an additional bat viewing event this fall in Moab

If you missed the two Utah Division of Wildlife Resources bat viewing events earlier this year and still want the opportunity to see these remarkable animals up close, you have another opportunity with an upcoming event in Moab.

Celebrate National Hunting and Fishing Day by shooting for free at 2 DWR ranges

Do you have a current Utah hunting, fishing or combination license? If so, you can visit either of the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources public shooting ranges on Saturday, Sept. 28 and shoot for free at the rifle, handgun and archery facilities on National Hunting and Fishing Day.

Over 9,500 boats inspected for quagga mussels during Labor Day weekend

Law enforcement officers and technicians with the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources and other agencies were hard at work over the holiday weekend, inspecting and decontaminating watercraft to prevent the spread of invasive quagga mussels from Lake Powell and other out-of-state infested reservoirs to other waterbodies in Utah.
