Tips to avoid deer/vehicle collisions after daylight saving time ends

While Utahns will gain an extra hour of sleep on Sunday due to daylight saving time ending, the time change also means that the evening commute for a lot of Utahns will be during lower-visibility hours, which can increase vehicle/wildlife collisions.

Part of Browns Park WMA to temporarily close in November due to swan project

A portion of Browns Park Wildlife Management Area (WMA) will be closing for approximately four to six weeks in November and December so Utah Division of Wildlife Resources biologists can catch and GPS collar trumpeter swans during their annual fall migration.

DWR Director Mike Fowlks announces retirement
